The Ride
The County Gran Fondo is Prince Edward County’s premier cycling weekend — a beautifully scenic road cycling event set among vineyards, charming villages, and quiet country roads in Ontario’s favourite wine region.
The County Gran Fondo
Choose from 50 km, 100 km, or 150 km routes and experience some of the best road cycling in Ontario. Starting from Isaiah Tubbs Resort on West Lake, riders cruise through Sandbanks Provincial Park, roll past vineyard-lined roads, visit the communities of Milford, Picton, and Wellington, and enjoy long stretches of peaceful countryside in between.
With exceptional rider support, well-marked routes, rest stops, and a lively post-ride celebration, the Gran Fondo is known for its welcoming atmosphere, strong sense of camaraderie, and unforgettable setting.
The Slow Food Ride
A shorter, relaxed, and social cycling experience designed for families, friends, and foodies alike. This casual 30 km ride that highlights some of the County’s best vineyards with curated stops for local food and wine tastings, offering a delicious way to explore Prince Edward County by bike.
If you haven’t ridden here yet, you’re in for a treat. Travel & Leisure recently named Prince Edward County one of the top places to travel in the world, describing it as:
“Cross Montauk, NY, with California’s Napa Valley circa 1970, and you get Prince Edward County, a tiny wine-producing region that’s becoming a haven for creative types”.
Cyclists have long known what makes this region special: quiet roads, rolling terrain, stunning lake views, and a vibrant food and wine culture that makes every ride memorable.
To our fellow riders and supporters, we are excited to announce that the County Gran Fondo will take place on September 5, 2026.

We look forward to continuing the annual tradition of celebrating cycling in Prince Edward County, together.
